Geelong v St Kilda AFL round 4; weather update

Well I don’t have good news, the weather has been depressing here the last 24 hours and isn’t looking any better so far today at GMHBA Stadium / Kardinia Park. There hasn’t been that much rain in absolute terms (6.8mm since 9am Saturday) but it’s the wind and how the rain is coming in that will make this evening’s twilight fixture between Geelong and St Kilda unpleasant.

The round 2 VFL match between Geelong and Saints affiliate Sandringham starts at 1pm, while the main AFL fixture starts at 4:40pm, telecast on Fox Footy along with radio stations K Rock, SEN, 3AW and ABC.

The emergencies for the match are Charlie Constable, James Parsons, Zac Smith, Jackson Thurlow; it will be interesting to see which one of them will miss the VFL and presumably come into the AFL side, or maybe we’ll be surprised today with no late changes?
