CATS NUDGE PAST CROWS
Ben Jensen 1 August 2009

By Ben Jensen GEELONG scraped past Adelaide at Skilled Stadium today, the Cats appearing in control in the third quarter but surrendering the lead to the Crows early in the final term. Paul Chapman's two goals pretty much snapped the match back for the Cats, who hung on by two points. Brad Ottens resumed earlier on in the VFL, and got through unscathed while Steve Johnson appears not to have fully shaken off his hip injury just yet.
