First Games not far away
January 4 2003

It is now less than eight weeks 'til Geelong first take the field for a meaningful match, in the Wizard Home Loans Cup, against traditional rivals the Western Bulldogs. The match is being held at Geelong's very own Skilled Stadium, Sunday February 23rd (2:30PM). Geelong's first Premiership match, is at the Telstra Dome against the same team 5 weeks later, a Bulldogs' home game. The Cats play their first home game against another bitter rival in recent years, the Kangaroos, at Skilled Stadium the following Sunday.

The GFC have released the 2003 Events Program, which can be found on the Official Geelong Website, or by clicking HERE. The Family Day on Sunday February 23rd brings the traditional guernsey presentations back to a daytime, free event.

The Countdown until the first match of the season proper will remain at the top right hand of the main window until kick off.
