AFL Refuses to guarantee home games at Skilled Stadium

THE Australian Football League is refusing to guarantee a future for Skilled Stadium as an AFL venue, even if $26Million is spent refurbishing the ground. The Stadium, already one of the most profitable in the entire competition, is proposed to be upgraded in the near future, costs being shared by the Victorian Government, City of Greater Geelong Council, GFC and AFL. We ask all Geelong Supporters to write to the AFL Chairman and CEO, urging them to reconsider their decision.
