Geelong 16.6.102 d St Kilda 15.11.101

Jarad Rooke makes a welcome return to the AFL side for this Saturday's clash with Fremantle at Subiaco Oval, as does forward Aaron Lord. Both players are returning from groin related injuries. Geelong needs a win against Fremantle to shore up a position in the finals; the Cats need at least one more win from the final three matches to be a certainty of making the finals series.

The Dockers have only been defeated by an interstate team at home once this season, by Port Adelaide in Round 14. The Cats on the other hand have had just the one win the last three weeks, only just scraping through over St Kilda last week, losing to the Kangaroos by 10 goals the week before, and defeated by Adelaide by 3 points the week before that. However, it is not all doom and gloom, as last week Geelong played just the one poor quarter. And because of this, they have been virtually written off by the majority of the football world, but the fact is that just one win in three matches in certainly attainable.
