CATS COMPREHENSIVELY THRASH FOURTH PLACED BULLDOGS
Ben Jensen (From Istanbul, Turkey) 15 August 2010

GEELONG bounced back from last week's defeat to Collingwood, taking their anger out on the poor old Western Bulldogs (fourth on the ladder) by a lazy 101 points. Tom Lonergan was a late withdrawal, and was replaced by Jeremy Laidler who played his first game of the season and second overall, while Dan Menzel made his AFL debut, both aquainting themselves very well. Channel Ten's Tim Lane may have written us off in the first quarter but the Cats came back, absosultely belting the Bulldogs about the park. (To his credit, Lane did not hide away from his remarks, retracting them around half-time).
