Cameron Mooney will again miss through suspension, and in fact will not play another game this season, following his two week suspension for striking Sydney Swan, former Geelong Falcon and Mr Colac Amon Buchanan.

Mooney and injured Shannon Byrnes are replaced by raw forward Nathan Ablett and speedster David Wojcinski. Wojcinski was unlucky to be dropped prior to last week's win over Sydney and is a good swap for Byrnes. Ablett will play just his tenth career game and sixth of the season. He has only kicked the one goal this season, what was very nearly a winning goal against West Coast in Round 10.

In the final round of VFL action our Bendigo Bank Cats host Western Bulldogs affiliate Werribee Tigers. The Cats remain an outside chance to take second position from Sandringham whilst Werribee need to defeat the Cats by at least fifty points to overtake Williamstown, who have the bye, in fourth position.

REGARDLESS of the outcome of this weekend's matches, the Bendigo Bank Cats will face Sandringham in the Qualitfying Final at Port Melbourne's TEAC Oval next Saturday 2 September at 1:10PM. Try not televising us this time ABC! Yes, the game will be on TV.

MATCH REPORT

GEELONG blew what was nearly a six goal break on Melbourne to lose by six points at the MCG on Friday night. The loss was the Cats' forth on the trot, leaving them with just two wins after six rounds. The loss was a narrow one but that was no consolation to the fans who braved the icy conditions on the night, or the supporters at home.
