AFL FINALS 2008 PRELIMINARY FINAL; GEELONG V WESTERN BULLDOGS; MATCH PREVIEW PLUS TV / RADIO BROADCAST DETAILS
Ben Jensen 18 September 2008

By Ben Jensen GEELONG V WESTERN BULLDOGS PREMIERS GEELONG, head into this Friday night's heavyweight clash at the MCG with the Western Bulldogs minus Paul Chapman. Also missing is Brent Prismall, who had a knee reconstruction following the qualifying final win over St Kilda two weeks ago. Returning are James Kelly and David Wojcinski, both having missed several weeks through injury. Kelly last played in round 20 at Sydney, Wojcinski round 15 against Fremantle. Chapman injured his hamstring in the qualifying final, and is now in serious doubt to play again even if the Cats make the Grand Final.

CATS CRUISE TO SIXTY-ONE POINT WIN
Ben Jensen 19 July 2008

By Ben Jensen GEELONG cemented top spot on the AFL ladder after defeating the second-placed Bulldogs by sixty-one points at Skilled Stadium today. Windy conditions and plenty of bite from the Bulldogs ensured the Cats made hard work of it in the first half before finishing all over the Bulldogs in the second half, their superiority over their challenger rudely asserted, despite the absense of All Australian midfielders Gary Ablett and Cameron Ling.
