AFL ROUND 22 2010: GEELONG V WEST COAST, SKILLED STADIUM

By Ben Jensen (Olympos, Turkey) GEELONG will look to round off the season in style against West Coast at their home ground Skilled Stadium on Saturday. James Podsiadly is a big loss, with a two week suspension, likewise defender Josh Hunt is out with a week with his suspension but will be back for the first week of the finals series. Coming back though are experienced trio Cameron Ling, Brad Ottens and Andrew Mackie, with Tom Lonergan also returning to shore up the backline. Dan Menzel and fellow youngster Taylor Hunt were the two omissions.

WEST COAST EAGLES V GEELONG CATS GEELONG struggled to overcome West Coast at Subiaco Oval tonight, but after a tense opening five minutes pulled away to win by four goals. Taylor Hunt booted his first goal on debut while Shannon Byrnes kicked a goal in each quarter.
