AFL ROUND 2 2011; FREMANTLE V GEELONG; MATCH PREVIEW INCLUDING TEAM LISTS, TV DETAILS
Ben Jensen 2 April 2011

By Ben Jensen twitter.com/thecattery FREMANTLE DOCKERS V GEELONG CATS GEELONG have made four forced changes for their clash with the Fremantle Dockers tonight at the ground formerlly known as Subiaco. Initially the Cats lost Matthew Scarlett to suspension and dropped youngsters Dan Menzel and Cameron Guthrie and recalled Cameron Ling, Paul Chapman and James Podisadly. However last night the Cats were forced to make three more changes, though sparing Menzel and Guthrie the axe.

Joel Selwood, concussed last Friday night against the Saints, was initially named pending a fitness test but was confirmed as a withdrawl yesterday along with Cameron Mooney (general soreness - code for too old to travel to Perth?) and Tom Lonergan (calf). Fremantle have made just the one change, Matt de Boer coming into the side for Jayden Pitt. Ben Jensen 10 September 2010

By Ben Jensen (Back in Geelong!) GEELONG easily accounted for Fremantle at the MCG tonight, cruising to a sixty-nine point win. The crowd was disappointing at just over 45,000, affected by a combination of a cold, wet night and general lack of interest by the footballing public and certainly by Fremantle fans.
