CATS SHOW THEIR CLAWS AGAINST LIONS
Ben Jensen (From Bovec, Slovenija) 25 July 2010

GEELONG shrugged off last week's disappointment to inflict a ten goal defeat on Brisbane at Skilled Stadium yesterday. Gary Ablett kicked five goals against what may turn out to be his derby rival for next season, while Steve Johnson, back from a broken hand, booted four along with Travis Varcoe. The only other multiple goalkicker on the day was Jonathan Brown for the Lions, with Brendan Fevola kicking just one.
