'Dasher' to play number 100 this weekend; Say goodbye to Snellie

Much relaxed and sometimes maligned Geelong backman Darren 'Dasher' Milburn is due to play his 100th game of AFL football this Saturday against the Kangaroos. Milburn played his first game for the Cats in 1997, after playing for Kilmore, progressing to the Calder Cannons in the TAC Under 18 competition.

Meanwhile this Saturday Geelong fans get a chance to say goodbye to recently retired forward Jason Snell, who as we know was forced into retirement due to a horrific injury sustained in early season 2001. Snell will complete a lap of honour before the game, on a day where Geelong also honours the 1952 Premiership side, who are holding a 50 year reunion dinner on Saturday night. Tickets are available from the club - visit the official site for details.
