CATS NUMBERS FINALISED FOR 2007
Ben Jensen 28 December 2006

By Ben Jensen GEELONG's team list for 2007 has been all but finalised. Father-son recruit Tom Hawkins has taken his dad 'Jumping' Jack Hawkins' number 26, vacated by Matthew McCarthy. Geelong's number one draftee, Joel Selwood, takes over number 14 from Paul Koulouriotis.

Geelong's only other draftees, Nathan Djerrkura and Simon Hogan will fill numbers 18 and 34, vacated by Kent Kingsley and Ryan Gamble. Of course, Gamble hasn't been delisted - he's taken over number 15 from retired great Peter Riccardi.

Geelong's season begins on Sunday April 1 at Telstra Dome, in an away game against the Western Bulldogs.
