While Collingwood has began the season with two wins, Geelong has been dumped twice to be 0-2. Collingwood, after coming within two kicks of the 2002 Premiership are one of the favorites to win in 2003, and playing Geelong at the MCG in Round 3 is seemingly just a stepping stone.

However, Collingwood have not beaten the Cats since Round 15 1998. Most recently in Round 15, 2002, which was made infamous because of Collingwood Captain Nathan Buckley becoming the first AFL player to be banned for the offence of smearing blood on an opponent, in Geelong midfielder Cameron Ling. Buckley will no doubt be overjoyed to hear the news that Ling is out injured; Buckley being named "Ling's Bitch" the past couple of seasons.

But I don't see Geelong getting their act together soon enough and expect Collingwood to dominate early, especially if Nathan Buckley, Anthony Rocca and Leon Davis find the goals. But if Geelong manage to win the toss and kick to the Punt Rd end they may at least we able to be in front at Quarter Time.

For the first time this season a match involving Geelong will be broadcast on Free-To-Air television, namely Channel Ten this Saturday arvo, on delay. If you want to attend the match, and are not an AFL or MCC member, BOOK YOUR TICKETS NOW, or you will MISS OUT.

Tip? Collingwood by 36 points.
