Why a blog?

I've decided to start a regular blog, hosted by Google's Blogger, to enable a more chain-of-consciousness approach to The Cattery, and hopefully attract a similar response from loyal punters like youself. Most people have a Gmail account these days so that should make it easier to provided feedback.
