AFL Round 11, 2018, Gold Coast Suns v Geelong Cats match preview

AFL ROUND 11 2018, Gold Coast Suns v Geelong Cats, Metricon Stadium, Saturday 2 June 2018, 16:35 AEST
Ben Jensen, May 30 2018 GARY ABLETT returns to play against his old club Gold Coast on Saturday afternoon in the Suns’ first game all season at Metricon Stadium. A key question is what big men will accompany Ablett to the Goldie? Former Sun Zac Smith, Rhys Stanley, and/or young ruckman/forward Wylie Buzza? Esava Ratugolea sadly will be out for quite some time after breaking his lower leg near the ankle, so there will be at least one big man making their way into the side. Buzza appears to be the answer for now, recalled and named at centre half forward. Ryan Abbott is the other player, named an emergency as he was last weekend weekend when he performed at least as good in the VFL against Williamstown as Smith, he made the best players no less. Buzza kicked two goals and Lincoln McCarthy one – McCarthy also recalled this week along with Lachie Fogarty. Omitted were forwards Cory Gregson and Stewart Crameri.
