Ben Jensen PATRICK DANGERFIELD will miss at least the next few matches after the skipper injured a hamstring in the win over his former side Adelaide last weekend. Also missing is the suspended Brad Close. Coming into the side is Brandan Parfitt, and last week’s substitute Ollie Dempsey keeps his spot. The Tigers have resisted the urge to send former skipper Trent Cotchin to the VFL, recalling the veteran while omitting Noah Cumberland and Judson Clarke.

In the VFLW our girls play an away game against legendary Darebin Falcons on Sunday at 3pm. The Cats lost their first match last weekend but hung on to top spot, with other top sides such as Port Melbourne on equal wins. In the VFL the fourteenth placed side plays Richmond late Saturday morning at the ‘Swinburne Centre’ – confusingly not Glenferrie Oval but Punt Road Oval. They hope to bounce back after a heavy loss to Southport Sharks at home last weekend.
