Cats struggle to 27 point win over Suns

GEELONG struggled but finally shook off a determined Gold Coast Suns outfit to win by 27 points. The Cats nearly went into the quarter, half and three quarter time breaks trailing the Suns but late goals saw them draw level or creep just ahead. Kicking fou goals and keeping the Suns goalless in the final term gave the Cats their ninth win from ten games in front of a small crowd of 13,144.
