Geelong to play Collingwood in season 2019 opener

Ben Jensen 29 October 2018 GEELONG will kick off their 2019 AFL season with an away game against Collingwood on Friday 22 March at the MCG. The AFL released the fixture on Saturday which surprise surprise features Richmond and Carlton on a Thursday night as the first match. It will be a new look Cats lineup with several departures already: Dan Menzel, Jordan Murdoch leading the departures following trade week.
