Geelong Cats v North Melbourne Kangaroos; AFL 2023 round 17 match preview and team lists

Geelong Cats v North Melbourne Kangaroos, AFL 2023 round 17, match preview and team lists
Ben Jensen
GEELONG has regained two Irishmen for Zach Tuohy’s record breaking match, Mark O’Connor and Oisin Mullin, for what is sure to be a wet and cold clash at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday. Missing are the managed Isaac Smith and injured defenders Jake Kolodjashnij and Jed Bews. Tuohy will surpass the late Jim Stynes’ record of 264 games, the most of any Irishman. Tuohy has played 144 matches for the Cats since crossing from Carlton, where he played 120. If the AFL match isn’t cold enough for you, stick around for the VFL game, also against the Kangaroos, which kicks off at 5:35pm. Despite a strong start to the season the VFL women’s side didn’t make the finals, which begins this weekend.
