Cats comeback crushes Magpies in Joel Selwood record breaking match

Collingwood Magpies v Geelong Cats, AFL 2022 round 3 Ben Jensen GEELONG defeated Collingwood by thirteen points on Saturday night at the MCG after trailing by thirty points at three quarter time, kicking all seven goals in the final quarter. Joel Selwood passed Stephen Kernahan’s record for most games played as captain, 227 games since taking over in 2012. Jeremy Cameron was the Cats’ best with six goals, three of them in the final quarter. The Cats now have two wins after three rounds and play their first game in Geelong on Friday night against the undefeated Brisbane Lions.
